We did a lot this week. Many of our busiest learning times I never capture on camera though because we are just so in the moment. That is the way most of this week went. However, I had the privilege to step back twice for special presentations and take some photos. First, a special guest science teacher, Mr. Chris, introduced us to the concepts of solid, liquid, and gas and showed us a bunch of cool experiments with dry ice.
Today, Miss Nita shared a story with us about Diwali and Maya performed a wonderful Indian dance. Students learned that families celebrate with lights, food, decorations, and even fireworks. Happy Diwali!
Oh, and of course we had plenty of opportunities to share a good book. These friends had fun playing "school" in the library this week.
