Trains came back at choice time this week. The train lovers in the group couldn't be happier! In our Let's Find Out magazines we learned about George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. We compared their lives long ago with ours today. We looked for similarities and differences. We continued our sharing routine this week with things that start with the letter Tt. Here is a friend showing us the cool things his robot tiger can do. Students were also introduced to using tally marks this week to record data. Cheers to a terrific Tt week!

We decorated crowns, counted our 100 collections, sorted 10s to 100, danced and counted to 100 with fun songs and videos, read 100 Hungry Ants, and then later reread it while creating the various arrays the ants made to march to the picnic. These kids are 100 days smarter. Hooray for the 100th day!!! We learned about the tradition of Groundhog Day today and are excited to see the results from Punxsutawney Phil's appearance tomorrow. We checked the Punxsutawney, PA weather and learned that it will be partly cloudy in the early morning with a chance of snow and rain later. We then created a graph of our predictions for Phil's prognosticating. Check out the Youtube links below for fun learning videos we shared this week for the 100th Day of School!
