Kenzie is our STAR of the Week. Her favorite book is Little Bea on a Snowy Day by Daniel Roone. Here is what students had to say about Kenzie: "She is a kind friend." - Amarjot "I like Kenzie." - Aayan "Whoever it is, she's a friend to them." - Rajveer "She's kind." - Jalen "She's a friend of mine." - Harmony "She cares about people when they're sick." - Maya On Monday, we celebrated the 100th Day of School. We decorated crowns, counted our 100 collections, sorted 10s to 100, danced and counted to 100 with fun songs and videos, read 100 Hungry Ants, and then later reread it while creating the various arrays the ants made to march to the picnic. These kids are 100 days smarter. Hooray for the 100th day!!! We learned about the tradition of Groundhog Day today and are excited to see the results from Punxsutawney Phil's appearance tomorrow. We checked the Punxsutawney, PA weather and learned that it will be partly cloudy in the early morning with a chance of snow and rain later. We then created a graph of our predictions for Phil's prognosticating. Check out the Youtube links below for fun learning videos we shared this week for the 100th Day of School!
