Isabel is our STAR of the Week. Her favorite book is If You Give a Cat a Cupcake by Laura Numeroff. Here is what students had to say about Isabel: "She's a kind friend." - Amarjot "I like Isabel because she plays hyenas." - Gurveen "She likes cats just like me." - Lilian "I like Isabel because we played Halloween." - Sydnee "She plays with me." - Eli "I like Isabel." - Harvir What better way to return from celebrating the holidays than to celebrate some more! On our first day back made countdown balls and had our our countdown for 2018. We set a class goal to line up quickly and quietly as well as individual goals that ranged from painting and playing soccer or T-Ball to practicing being a cat and building a boxing robot. TK is the best! There were a couple rainy days when we came back too. That's great because we love rainy day recess! It means special rainy day toys and games! TK has lots to say about 2018! At Morning Meeting today, this is how friends responded to the prompt "My favorite part of TK in 2018 was when..."
"We played with the dinosaurs." - Aayan "We did the counting." - Amarjot "We did the dinosaurs and the ice cream game." - Ayinde "We had indoor recess." - Chloe "We blowed the party blowers." - Dylan "We had the ice crean game." - Eli "We did the ice cream and the dinosaurs." - Grayson "We played the ice creams" -Gurveen "We played ponies." - Harmony "We had a lot of ponies." - Isabel "We did ice cream because of the spinny thing." - Bo "We got ponies and when we were making the people." - Kenzie "I played ponies with Chloe" - Lilian "We played dinosaurs." - Macx "We made the countdown balls." - Maya "We were celebrating with the counting balls." - Milo "We played the dinosaurs." - Rajveer "We played with the dinosaurs." - Samrat "We blow the party whistles and said Happy New Year!" - Sriya "We were playing with the My Little Ponies." - Sydnee
